Summer Destinations in California

Santa Barbara is a beautiful and enjoyable place in California, but there are many other great places to visit. Here are a few of my favorite California destinations that can fill your summer with whole lot of fun!

When most people think of California, they might think of Los Angeles. It is an iconic location full of celebrities, red carpets, high-end shopping, surf spots, and many amusement parks. A few of the most known stops in LA are Disneyland and Universal Studios. Many kids and adults enjoy going on rides and enjoy eating the food at fairs or amusement parks. It’s is a great way to spend the day with family and friends. Universal studios is also where many movies and shows are filmed, so it is very exciting to watch a set in action. If you enjoy surfing and relaxing on the beach, LA should hit the spot for you. Malibu is known for its surfing and there are so many beaches to choose from in Venice, Malibu, and Santa Monica, which also consist of high-end malls and shopping areas like The Grove, Rodeo Drive, and Third Street Promenade. As you can see, LA is a great place to vacation.

Another spectacular location to vacation to is San Francisco! San Francisco is filled with so much charm, history, and has a bit of everything within its downtown area. From the beaches, to the museums, to Chinatown, San Francisco is one beautiful place. There is quite a view from the Golden Gate Bridge, a popular tourist attraction in California. It’s red and it runs through the San Francisco Bay; looking out at to the city. Another place to visit is Alcatraz, an old prison that has since been condemned and whose site you can now tour. It is used for tourists to come take a tour and visit the building.

San Diego is another frequently visited city in California. It is home to some of the best beaches and cute towns like Del Mar, Cardiff, Carmel, and many more. San Diego is also known for its famous Zoo. Home to over 650 different species of animals, it is a large zoo packed full with a whole lot of beauty. San Diego is also a great place to enjoy the beach. You can just lay on the sand or play in the water, and it is a fantastic surfing spot as well.

Overall, California is packed full of fun and exciting destinations to visit. Hopefully you enjoy traveling around embracing the different sites.
